Arts Administrator / Manager, Sir Run Run Shaw Hall

Ribble serves as the head of The Office of the Arts Administrator and manages the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She has previously lectured on Arts Administration for the master’s programme in Cultural Management and the Music Department at CUHK.  With a career in producing performances in Hong Kong and overseas since the 80s, she brings a wealth of experience to her role.

Recently, she has been involved in various creative projects. In 2020, she participated in a physical theatre performance “O”, which presented by the City Contemporary Dance Company, where she contributed as a dramaturg. In 2021, she produced “Diary VII. The story of …”, presented by Tai Kwun. In 2023, she designed costumes for “Double Happiness: The Promise of Red”, presented by The West Kowloon District.

Ribble served as an elected council member for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council from 2013 to 2019. During her tenure, she chaired the committees of Arts Promotion and Arts Administration. She was also a member of the Community Arts of the Audience Building Office and the Programme Development Committee of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

In addition, Ribble currently serves as the chairperson of the Pop Theatre, the Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association, and a board member of several organizations, including Theatre du Pif, Actors’ Family, The International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong), One Month One Art, Littlebreath Creative Workshop, and The House of Hong Kong Literature
