Mr Adrian CHENG, Chairman, K11 Art Foundation

Adrian Cheng is the art pioneer who founded the K11 Art Foundation (“KAF”) in 2010, the first non-profit and non-state owned art foundation in China to support the development of Chinese contemporary art and to promote public art education. The Foundation has been collaborating with international museums and institutions on new initiatives such as co-curated exhibition with Palais de Tokyo, and symposium with the Met and Armory Show. He also curated a solo show for Zhang Enli during Art Basel Hong Kong in 2014. Adrian serves as a Board Director of the National Museum of China Foundation, Trustee of Royal Academy of Arts, and various committees at Centre Pompidou, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and TATE. He is also the art entrepreneur who successfully created a new hybrid model, combining art and commerce to introduce the museum retail concept – K11.
