Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association presents the 12th Cultural Leadership Summit - “International Cultural Exchange”. The three-day online conference will be held during 17-19 August 2022.

Globalization has fostered international cultural exchange, and whilst many cultural events have ground to a halt under the pandemic, artists have remained active by presenting their work using various formats that reach beyond geographical barriers. 

The Summit consists of workshops and symposiums, gathering seasoned arts leaders and practitioners from around the world to discuss topics focusing on successful regional case studies on cultural exports and imports, cultural exchange opportunities through artist residencies and the potential of Mainland China’s market, and new touring methods like “Concept Touring” and the Metaverse, creating a multi-dimensional art environment that enriches peoples’ lives. 

The engaging roundtable discussions and closing plenary provide opportunities for expert speakers from various fields to discuss Hong Kong’s role as a vibrant hub for arts and cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world, along with the prospects of cultural tourism to attract local and foreign visitors to Hong Kong. 

This Summit will serve as an interactive platform for participants to explore trends and opportunities in the arts and stimulate arts development in times of change.

Language: Mainly conducted in English, non-English sessions with simultaneous interpretation through Zoom

Target: Arts administrators, independent producers and artists

About Cultural Leadership Summit

 

Since 2010, HKAAA has successfully organized ten Cultural Leadership Summits. We have expounded, discussed and debated many important topics integral to the arts and cultural industry, including cultural entrepreneurship, arts funding, and audiences building.

 

With an annual offering of talks, workshops, roundtable discussions and networking sessions, the Summits over the years have attracted arts practitioners from organizations of different sizes, arts entrepreneurs, artists, educators, cultural partners from non-profit sectors and business organizations, as well as public policy makers. Besides local arts practitioners, the Summit has also attracted audiences from different cities and backgrounds, including representatives from Cloud Gate Theatre Taiwan, National Arts Council Singapore, Cultural Institution of Macau, and the US, Korean and French Consulate Generals in Hong Kong.

文化領袖論壇2022

由香港藝術行政人員協會(HKAAA)主辦、為期三天的第十二屆文化領袖論壇以「國際文化交流」為主題，將於8月17-19日在網上舉行。

全球一體化下促進了各地之間的國際文化交流，儘管疫情令很多文化活動停擺，但不減藝術家透過不同形式、跨越地域界限呈現藝術。是次論壇囊括工作坊及研討會，延攬了世界各地的資深藝術行政領袖及藝術實踐者，將集中與參與者探討三大範疇，包括學習鄰近地區的文化輸出及引進的成功案例、分享藝術家駐留及內地演出的發展方向，以及新時代下的文化交流模式。當中包括打破傳統模式的概念巡演(Concept Touring)，以至開拓元宇宙(Metaverse)市場，引入另類文化交流的可能性，構建多元藝術生態，滋養大眾的藝術生活。

在圓桌討論及總結環節，不同領域的講者將討論香港作為中外文化藝術交流的重要紐帶，於文化輸出及引進的區位優勢及推動角色，展望更廣泛傳播香港的文化魅力至國際舞台；透過文旅結合，塑造吸引本地人及外地旅客關注的文化藝術都市。今屆的文化領袖論壇將提供一個互動的網上交流平台，匯聚參加者探討藝術帶來的各種機遇及可能，窺探發展趨勢，激發藝術的生機和力量。

文化領袖論壇


自2010年起，香港藝術行政人員協會已成功舉辦了十屆文化領袖論壇。每年協會均在文化領袖論壇平台上匯聚不同的藝文領袖，討論多個藝術和文化產業的重要議題，包括藝術資助、觀眾建設及藝術科技。 

 

文化領袖論壇每年均以講座、工作坊、圓桌討論，吸引來自不同規模組織的藝術工作者、藝術企業家、藝術家、教育工作者、來自非營利部門和商業組織的文化夥伴以及公共決策者。除了本地藝術從業者外，文化領袖論壇亦吸引了來自不同城市和背景的歡眾，其中包括來自台灣雲門舞集、新加坡國家藝術理事會、澳門文化局以及美國、韓國、澳洲駐港總領事館的代表等等。
