Save the Date for Cultural Leadership Summit – "Leveraging Technology for Growth"
We are thrilled to announce that Cultural Leadership Summit – "Leveraging Technology for Growth" will be held on 26th- 28th August, 2020 with workshops, group discussions and symposium.

For the first time, our Cultural Leadership Summit will be an online event. As the theme is “technology”, this is the perfect instant to let technology and art connect us from all corners of the world, despite the current situation of lockdown or social distancing. The rapid emergence and evolution of technology in the recent decades has radically expanded and reshaped the boundary of arts. It opens up new possibilities for arts practitioners and artists to create and express. It also enables art organizations to transform their operational models, engage and develop audiences in unconventional ways.

Renowned speakers include:
Chris Denby, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Advisory Board for the Arts (US)
Andrew Wong, CEO, EngagePlus (HK)
Jeffrey Shaw, Professor of Media Art (AR/VR), City University of Hong Kong (Australia)
Joe Stansfield, Senior Consultant Charcoalblue (UK)
Paul Tan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, National Arts Council (Singapore)
And more …

Public registration will be available from July 27, please stay tuned for full programme and registration details.

【22nd Hong Kong Dance Awards】— Online Live-streaming Presentation Ceremony on 18 July
In view of the continuing uncertainty and risk of infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 22nd Hong Kong Dance Awards Presentation Ceremony will be changed from a public event to a closed-door, invitation-only event with live-streaming on social media platforms for free viewing. To avoid a large gathering, only the shortlisted nominees and other related parties will be invited to attend in person.
This exciting new way of conducting the ceremony reflects the ‘new normal’ of life during the pandemic and the new journey on which the dance community, like the rest of the world, is embarking, and will make the event accessible to a much wider audience.
“This online Awards ceremony will show how we can embrace the future. It will enable us to honour outstanding achievements in Hong Kong dance and bring the dance community together in celebration after the tough times we’ve been through without any risk.”
— Chairperson of Hong Kong Dance Alliance | Shirley Loong
“We’re keeping the ceremony simple while not forgetting how art can heal tired hearts and bring us hope.”
— Artistic Director of 22nd Hong Kong Dance Awards | Dominic Wong
