Graduated in MSc in Non-profit Management from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), MA in Cultural Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and BA in Music from HKU, Vennie has actively participated in music and various roles in cultural management field.
She joined the internship programme at Adelaide Festival Centre during her studies at CUHK to gain overseas experience. She also worked as part-time at The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra when she studied at HKU to broaden her horizon in major arts organisations.
In 2018/19, she worked for MA Cultural Management as a part-time course tutor in CUHK. She joined Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association as Project Officer to coordinate Cultural Leadership Summit 2018 and Essential Guide to Smart Touring 2019. Vennie has been a part-time Front of House Manager at HKU Cultural Management Team since 2016.
Since 2015, Vennie has been working at Hong Kong Generation Next Arts (HKGNA), a charitable arts organisation that aims to inspire and nurture artistic excellence and personal success of young artists and transform lives through music. She organised four HKGNA Music Festivals and is now a full time Arts Administrative Manager, preparing for HKGNA Music Festival 2019.
