Ms. Lisa Tsang, Head, Venue Operations (Performing Arts), West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

Ms Lisa Tsang has a dynamic career in Creative Industries combining performing arts, marketing and management. Ms Tsang was a violinist of the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra and obtained the Licentiate Diploma in piano performance from Trinity College London. Upon graduation, Tsang has worked for orchestra and the Hong Kong Children's Choir before she moved onto Live Entertainment in the fun themepark business. She has served as Executive Producer of Ocean Park and has developed strategic partnership with international entertainment giants like Time Warner Cartoon Network and Universal Studios. Tsang later joined Hong Kong Disneyland Resort as the Opening team serving as Park Producer and Production Director before she became Deputy General Manager, Themepark Entertainment of the Chimelong group. Not only did she create numerous events with prophetic skills resulting in record attendance for the parks, Tsang also strived for exceptional quality and excellence when creating new entertainment product for the theme park industry. During the twenty years, Tsang has won numerous local and international awards including Best Script Writer and Best Production from the International Association of Amusement Park and Attractions (IAAPA) and the Walt Disney Legacy Award. Tsang recently received the Distinguished Marketing Alumni award from Hong Kong Baptist University.

 

Tsang is currently Head, Venue Operations (Performing Arts) of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority helping to shape the future cultural scene of Hong Kong. Ms Tsang holds a Master of Science degree in Managerial Leadership from Edinburgh Napier University.
