The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection presents: Flight – Sights, Sounds & Shows @ Shalowan
We introduced recently Flight’s Immersive Interactive Theatre and Installations by renowned local & international artists. For people who like dance and music, we have two programmes which integrate the elements of nature, science and arts which provide you fascinating sights and sounds.

Programme 3: Dance – Fight or Flight
The first dance piece is inspired by the physiological reaction of flight or fight for human being and animals in response to threats. In the second piece, the choreography is based on a mathematical score and the idea of flight.

Programme 4: Music – Sounds of Disappearance
The soundscapes of the 300-year-old Shalowan Village have changed drastically since the Hong Kong International Airport opened in Chek Lap Kok across the bay. Written for toy piano, horn, percussion with pre-recorded sounds from Shalowan, the piece explores how the urban environment, especially that of the airport, play a role in the disappearance of the village. Taking the idea of flight, the movements of the work encapsulate the concepts of Leaving, Disappearance and Memory.
