Time: 10am – 6pm
Venue: The Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts

Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association’s 2018 Cultural Leadership Summit, an important annual cultural event, which is into its 9th edition this year with the theme of “Arts Touring & Cultural Touring: New Markets, New Audiences, New Strategies”, will be held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from 8th to 9th November of 2018.

In recent years, more and more arts and cultural institutions in Hong Kong have sought out performance and exhibition opportunities, hoping to build an international reputation and increase the development of art groups and their works. Most of them all want to attract some audience who come from different cities and discipline.

This year we will focus on this very timely topic – how we can stay competitive and share arts locally and globally in this changing world. The two-day HKAAA Cultural Leadership Summit, with a roster of renowned international and local speakers, will review the arts touring and cultural tourism in Hong Kong with its challenges and opportunities, and learn from the best practices by both international and local arts practitioners and organizations in order to put forth the most effective strategies to expand the markets, in both depth and width, for the arts and culture in our city.
