Next Thursday (7/9), Jan Versweyveld (Head of Design and Photography at Toneelgroep Amsterdam) joins theatre director Edward Lam and West Kowloon’s Head of Theatre, Performing Arts Low Kee Hong in Hong Kong for an in-depth sharing on his work and the aesthetics of scenography.

Christie’s Education Hong Kong Short Course
Art, Law and Ethics
 
Christie’s Education is pleased to present Art, Law and Ethics, a 3-day course that examines legal and ethical issues relevant to the visual arts. Lauren Crais, Head of Study, Law of Christie’s Education London will be flying in to lead the programme, with Christie’s in-house counsel and other lawyers with experience in relevant fields as guest speakers. Topics to be covered include agreements and laws that govern art auctions, copyright and moral rights, trade restrictions, art crime, as well as the questions of cultural heritage and artist resale royalty.
 
Taught in English, this course requires no prior legal experience, and is designed for collectors and those working in the art world.

HKDI Gallery Presents "Swiss Accessory and Watch Design by HEAD - Genève”
A showcase of over 100 pieces of designs by students of Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD – Genève) will demonstrate the latest innovations in jewellery, watch and accessory designs from Switzerland stemming from a long-standing design education tradition that has nurtured some of the best designers. The exhibition at Hong Kong Design Institute will mark the creative and academic partnership between the two institutions.
