To all HKAAA members,

Thank you for supporting HKAAA in the past year!

Annual General Meeting 2015-2016 of HKAAA will be held on 27 February 2016 (Monday) at 5:00-6:30pm at Steam Studio (4/F, Si Toi Commercial Building, Queen St., Sheung Wan). We invite all of our members to join us for this occasion, to learn more about what we have been doing in the past year, and give us comments on how to do better in the future. Light refreshments will be served at the meeting.

Arts Administration Scholarships 2017 (Local/Overseas) Open for Application
Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) is launching the following scholarship schemes to support local promising arts administrators to further their studies in Hong Kong and abroad in order to strengthen their professionalism.
 
Local Arts Administration Scholarships 2017
- To pursue master courses or professional programmes in arts administration or business administration related professional programmes at local universities/ tertiary institutions
- Intended programme must commence within the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018
- Each scholarship will cover 70% of the tuition fees, up to a maximum amount of HK$80,000
- Around six scholarships will be awarded

Overseas Arts Administration Scholarships 2017
- To pursue taught master courses in relation to arts administration at overseas accredited institutions
- Intended programme must commence within the period from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2018
- Each scholarship value is up to HK$450,000 which covers tuition fee, subsistence allowance and a round-trip flight ticket
- Around six overseas scholarships will be awarded

Hong Kong Scholarship on the Clore Leadership Programme 2017/18 Open for Application
With the funding support of Home Affairs Bureau, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) launches the “Hong Kong Scholarship on the Clore Leadership Programme (CLP)” again in 2017/18, with an aim to enhance the leadership training of arts management and creative talents of Hong Kong. A maximum of two scholarships will be given. The Scholarship is now open for application.
 
The successful candidate(s) will attend an induction day in the UK on 22 September 2017 and engage with Fellows of the CLP in two mandatory residential leadership courses from 25 September to 5 October 2017 and 25 June to 5 July 2018. The candidate(s) will also take part in intensive leadership training and professional development through approximately 8-week secondment in a cultural institution, mentoring, coaching, tuition and research and is expected to dedicate approximately four months to the programme in the UK between April and July 2018. The total value of the Scholarship is £25,000 per award of which a bursary of up to £14,000 will be made available to each Scholar to cover the cost of tuition and conference fees, accommodation, subsistence, and airfares. 2017 Art Next International Artists Awards and Art Next Expo
Art Next 2017 is a unique opportunity for you to showcase your talents directly to art professionals, collectors and curators.  At the gateway to China, Hong Kong is home to some of the world’s largest art fairs and auctions.  You will be able to make your name known to collectors, gallery owners, and art patrons from around the world.
