Macao International Music Festival Forum
In the face of an ever-changing economic environment across the globe, cities are taking advantage of their own cultural background and resources to build their city brands as a way to tackle new challenges and remain competitive. In this regard, annual arts events like large-scale international music festivals and arts festivals have become one of the popular models for cities to promote the development of their cultural industries.  As one of the highlight programs of the 30th anniversary of the Macao International Music Festival, we will host an international forum to look at how international arts festivals and events contribute to the sustainable development of a city. Prominent practitioners from overseas and nearby regions, including Sir Nicholas Kenyon, Managing Director of Barbican Centre, Mr. Martin Engstroem, Founder and Executive Director of Verbier Festival and Ms. Tisa Ho, Executive Director of Hong Kong Arts Festival and more, are invited to share their views and together explore new approaches to the development of music and arts festivals in cities.

【Jocky Club ifva Everywhere – Master Class and Artist Mentoring Scheme】 “Storytelling with Brushes” – International Renowned Animator Davy Liu

He is going to talk about how he transforms from a young Taiwanese who did not like studying to an international renowned animator during the Public Seminar.
