Following the huge success of our previous Recruitment Day, we are launching Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association 2016 at Sheung Wan Civic Centre on 30 July 2016 (Sat).

The Recruitment Day will serve as a platform for the participating arts organizations and job seekers, offering an opportunity for on-location job application and interview. Prestigious arts administration managers are invited to share with us their views and experience as well as the future and opportunities in the profession on the Recruitment Day.

Hong Kong Arts Development Council - Sage Gateshead Internships 2016 Open for Application
 
Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) collaborates again with Sage Gateshead, renowned centre for music education, performance and conference in the UK to launch the ‘Sage Gateshead Internships 2016’. The Programme provides an internship opportunity to local experienced arts practitioners with potential to further develop their professional skills and network. It is now open for application.
 
The Programme will offer two 12-week internship places on a full-time basis from January to March 2017 in Sage Gateshead. The interns will gain in-depth, hands-on experience and knowledge in areas of venue management, marketing and audience development, artistic programming and management, festival programming, learning and participation, fund raising and development, cultural and arts policy. A bursary of £9,500 will be provided to each selected candidate as an allowance for a round trip air ticket, accommodation, transportation and subsistence during the placement period.

West Kowloon Cultural District - Theatre Atelier Project – Holistic training programme with Edward Lam
This summer, West Kowloon’s performing arts department teams up with Edward Lam Dance Theatre to launch the Theatre Atelier Project – a six-month training programme for young creative producers and administrators covering all aspects of theatre production and administration, including creative work, production, sales and marketing, digital promotion, and design.

The programme is designed for recent graduates or junior professionals with cultural management, humanities or arts experience, a passionate interest in the work of renowned playwright and director Edward Lam, and desire to gain hands-on experience in the performing arts industry.
