Athena Wu joined M+ in 2015 and is currently Associate Curator of Learning and Interpretation. She ran the Museum’s first school and community outreach programme, “M+ Rover”.
Prior to joining M+, Athena was the Programme Manager at Spring Workshop where she helped launch the art space in 2012 and organised residencies, exhibitions and various projects with local and overseas artists and art organisations. She has also worked in the Arts & Creative Industries team in British Council in Hong Kong and organised a major UK art exhibition, “Made in Britain” in collaboration with the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in 2011, alongside other projects.
Athena received her bachelor degree in Anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and MA in Museum Studies from New York University.
