HKDI Gallery Presents: Over the Ocean, On the Road
Three more days to go before the closing of “Over the Ocean, On the Road: A Multimedia Exhibition by Leong Ka Tai”! In 2013, acclaimed Hong Kong photographer Leong Ka Tai and his wife crossed the Pacific Ocean to Latin America on a container ship. Before embarkation, Leong invited artists and friends to participate in a “Message in a Bottle” project, which involved messages being inserted into a bottle, one per day, and thrown into the sea when Leong was onboard. In the past two years, Leong received replies from two people from different parts of the world who had picked up the bottles! These moments and the documentation of Leong’s journey are now presented through his photographs, videos and multimedia installation. If you still haven’t visited us, come to the HKDI Gallery on or before next Monday (30 May)!
Date: From now until 30 May

Time: 10am - 8pm
Venue: HKDI Gallery at Hong Kong Design Institute, 3 King Ling Road, Tseung Kwan O (MTR Tiu Keng Leng Station Exit A2)
