Catherine is working as the Project Director of the Cultural Heritage Leadership Project of Fringe Club. She understands the importance of communication and she believes in the power of collective thinking, cross-cultural and cross-sector collaboration. She identifies art administrators are powerful in accelerating creative art projects between art organizations and business. Her training in creative and entrepreneurial leadership, and her experience in both private and non-profit-making sectors have strengthened her belief.
Catherine was the Senior Manager of the Asian Film Awards (AFA) of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society. She also worked as the Senior Corporate Communications Manager in Emperor Group and Project Manager in Commercial Radio Productions (CRP). Besides the international AFA, during her tenure in CRP, she was responsible for the overall management and operation of about 300 events including ‘Jan Lamb Stand Up Show’ (2005-06), ‘Softhard Long Time No See Concert’ (2006), ‘Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation’ and ‘Music is Live’ among many others. Her scope of experience includes project management, partnership, hospitality, marketing and promotion. All these experiences have skilled her up to be an all rounded art administrator.
Catherine has a Master of Arts in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths of the University of London and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong.
