“Art Administrator 101” Series - Class 1: Getting to Know the Whole Design and Production Process at a Printing House

 “Art Administrator 101” Series

Practical Skill Workshop for Newcomers

Class 1: Getting to Know the Whole Design and Production Process at a Printing House

Founder of Green Production Dicky Choy and Lemon101 Creative and Artistic Director Kenneth Cheung will give you an insider tour on design and printing and walk you through the process of producing printed promotion materials.

What is “bleeding” in the context of printing? How large should the design file size be for making a high-quality printed product? What are the necessary procedures of design and production that need to be completed for printed products? Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association has invited experts to lead an exclusive tour at a printing company and they are ready to answer all the questions from art administrators.

Local art administrators always face the issue of heavy workload with limited resources. They might take on a few different roles and handle major duties without any proper training. Thus, HKAAA has launched this “Art Administrator 101” Series and engaged experienced speakers to teach on various aspects of art administration skill. We also welcome experienced art administrators to join us to enhance existing skill.
