Theresa has over 10 years of experience in marketing and public relations, with expertise in planning and executing cultural projects for both the NGO and commercial sectors. Before joining HKAAA, she worked at the corporate communications department of Sun Hung Kai Properties, where she was responsible for crisis management, corporate events and CSR initiatives including setting up a new membership platform SHKP Reading Club to promote reading culture in Hong Kong.
An all-rounded communicator, Theresa has experience working for small to large-sized organizations. Previously, she worked at Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, which she was involved in media relations, marketing, sponsorship and partnership. She has had extensive experience in membership recruitment, volunteer management and community outreach from leading various publishing projects at Roundtable Community, a non-profit organization that acts as a “revolving door” to further the development of young generations, especially for students with social science background.
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of Victoria, Canada, as well as a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
